The Great Central Hotel was established in 1874 and is one of the oldest buildings in Glen Innes, making it historic Glen Innes Accommodation.  The two-story building features Victorian architecture which showcases heritage colours.  This Glen Innes Accommodation maintains the original charm of yesteryear with a wide verandah, welcoming fireplaces and plush seating to provide a warm, friendly country atmosphere.  It is located in the center of town close to parks, shops, and entertainment.

There are 13 refurbished accommodation rooms with room types ranging from single, queen, twin and family rooms.  All rooms include a side table, lamp, towels, and soap.  The hotel provides all guests with separate Male and Female bathroom facilities.  Guests also have access to the guest lounge and kitchen facilities on the accommodation floor.

The Hotel features a traditional bar with a pool table, restaurant, and cafe.  Guests can enjoy a fantastic meal at the Great Central Hotel restaurant which offers a wide variety of delicious options on the menu. The restaurant is open six days a week with Sundays being closed. There is also a newly opened Coffee Central Cafe on the ground floor which is open seven days for breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon teas. High tea is available upon request.  There is plenty of things to do for everyone.
